Swimming in October!

Who'da thunk it? The lake is a tad cold but very refreshing after being in the sun for a while. I do not think we have more than a few days left like this one.

Robert has given us steps!

Robert has worked for two days to give us steps. They turned out very nice. Zoie is very happy now that she does not have to use her springs to get back in the house. Robert was just going to set the steps there, I asked him how he would keep them from moving? So I came up with the blocks in the corners idea! I feel smart for a change! Pictures.

The weather is awesome, & I enjoyed my day off of work. I went fishing & caught fish! I went kayaking & enjoyed the sun. I read some Harry Potter too. Yes, of coarse I took a nap too. Nothing new on the house. I think Jeff only worked two days this week.

Electricity!

Today there was some electric things going on in the new room! I have 6 Yes I said 6 can lights mounted. I think it will be brighter in this new room that anywhere in the entire house. I have plug in boxes mounted. I have old electric stuff exposed eeewww! Rj put some more of that canned spray expanding insulation in the attic & some fell down on the floor. It looks like poop! Of coarse Zoie put her nose in it. The stuff is hopelessly stuck to her nose. She keeps eating the dryed up plops of it too:( Pictures.

Yet another book devoured

This is book number two in a series of three. I have to wait for book three. It is not published yet. I hate it when they leave you hanging like this.
The Elfstones are in play once again. This series tie in with the starter Shannara books. There is never a bad Shannara book!
