I have to say right of the bat that I feel for all those being hit by IKE. I can't even fathom wind like that.
It is very soggy here it has been raining for two days. It is going to continue to rain.
We may sun some sun on Monday. Next week we will have below average temps.

Apparently little Ms. Zoie did not want to get wet early this morning to poop, so she pooped on the floor.
I made her go out to tinkle this morning. I stood guard until I saw her go!

Today was very windy!

The roof project did not go very far today. The metal panels acted like wings. They did get the lake side mostly done.
Now we have only 30 # felt paper to protect the house from the storms coming tonight.

Swimming in October!

Who'da thunk it? The lake is a tad cold but very refreshing after being in the sun for a while. I do not think we have more than a few days left like this one.
