Remember When We Brought Bella Home?

Bella has come such a long way!
When we brought her home in November she was 5 pounds. She weighs 11 pounds now. I call her my Chunky Monkey! She is such a cuddle bucket, but only with me....she is still scared of the rest of the world.
It makes me feel very needed & special that she loves me that much. *shrug*
I wrote a Bella poem.

Bella from a puppy-mill came she.
Broken like me.
We cling together, a bond like no other.
Neurotic she is, but does not smother.
Slowly we heal.

Happiness is.....

Coming home to a clean non-smelly dog. I was so happy tonight! The first night in four.
I am paying very close attention to food intake. I'm sure that Bella was eating some of Zoie's portions of food.

Bella & Poop

Ms.Bella decided to cry all night.
She also decided to poop & play in it while we were at work:(
She loves to eat & play in poop WTF?
I got the powder to mix in her food to make poop taste bad:)
This is just odd....we went through all of this with Zoie as a puppy.
Oh yeah & Her farts are HELLA stinky! She farts alot too:P

Bella

Bella fits in wonderful with our family. I think her & Zoie are related somehow.
Bella has a fetish with poop right now.....she likes to eat it
They make a powder to mix in their food that makes poop taste bad. Zoie went through this as a puppy. Counting the accidents that she has had (One involving paw painting with poop in her crate!) I still think she is doing awesome & learning fast.
She did give Zoie her cold. Now everyone in this house has had this nasty cold! Bella had antibiotics for her cold, I'll have to get some for Zoie.

Bella has gained weight fast, she loves food.

She loves me to death....I keep tripping over her, she does not like it when she can't see me or be near me.

Zoie & Food

My little freak Zoie has treated her food luke warm since she came to live with us. Royal Canin was what she was raised on. She would eat her bowl empty then leave it for a couple days at a time. This pattern has gotten worse in the last few months.
The girl can't live on cookies.
I tried some Halo dog food (The company Ellen bought). So I had two bowls of food sitting out. She could would eat both bowls at once then leave the bowls sitting full of food for days.
I noticed that when we went to her BFF's she would go straight to Hattie's food bowel & eat like I did not feed her.
Her tummy has been upset this weekend. She has not had many kibbles. So I went to the Vet's & got a bag of Hill's Science Diet.
Right out of the bag she loved it. I hope she keeps liking it.

Weather

I have to say right of the bat that I feel for all those being hit by IKE. I can't even fathom wind like that.
It is very soggy here it has been raining for two days. It is going to continue to rain.
We may sun some sun on Monday. Next week we will have below average temps.

Apparently little Ms. Zoie did not want to get wet early this morning to poop, so she pooped on the floor.
I made her go out to tinkle this morning. I stood guard until I saw her go!

I forgot to tell this Zoie story.

I think it was Monday night. Ms. Queen Zoie came in through the doggie door with something in her mouth. I'll be damned if it was not a 3 inch frozen turd. I had to pry her jaws open whilst Robert grabbed the turdcycle, which he promptly disposed of.
Sometimes this dog really tries my patience! :)

Weekends seem so short...

But the days seems to be getting longer. I can actually envision spring, I think it is just around the corner.

Yesterday was the first day that my arm was pain free in like five months. It is very much a relief.

This weekend was Rock Band weekend on Xbox. I won all of my on-line battles W00T!
I have one more song to conquer on hard to go on to the second set. There are about 4 songs on Medium that I'm having trouble getting five stars on.

I ordered drums for these game but they are on backorder:( I really need to get another wireless guitar also & a partner in crime. I could force Robert to play:) DO it or else, LOL!

Zoie's hair cut was a big adventure for her!

Zoie got to spend a whole night & day with Aunt Donna & Hattie. She went to the doggie spa today. She's so cute.
I think though that she is a bit angry with me, I think she missed me. She has slept since the very moment we got home. I keep thinking she is sick because she is never this calm.

On another note.....I keep seeing Ellen talk about & play Guitar Hero on her show. She had a kid on today play through the Fire & Flames on expert. *grrr* I miss playing I'll never get to expert if I keep having to be on the sidelines!
Even though I've not been playing my Tennis Elbow has not improved. I expect to get a shot next time I go in to the doctor.

Zoie's Halloween

The neighbor lady Donna (from the other side of the lake) has a Cocker named Hattie. Zoie & I take walks most days & if Zoie is lucky she gets to play with Hattie in Hattie's yard. Hattie's yard is huge & mostly fence so to Zoie this is as free as she can get. Zoie runs & rolls & plays.


Donna got both dogs Halloween gift bags. How sweet! Zoie loves her vampire! More pictures!

Zoie was afraid of my birthday card. She is so funny.

Zoie has one more class. She has learned To heal, sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, sit from down 2 ways, stand, come, zig zig heal.

I even managed to jog with out her tripping me the other day. She does really good on everything except down. She still is very stubborn, but I think maybe her streaks of FU are getting shorter.

She was a little more of a booger today. She did some barking & growling. But she is not doing bad. She does not like the lay down thing. Today we learned laydown, sit/stay.

I'm a rotten mommy! I forgot to take the camera. (I will take it next week I swear). I made Robert do all the work because he & Zoie truly need to work out their differences. She did better than I gave her credit for. I will be practicing with her everyday. They say not to work them more than ten minutes at a time & to make it fun. Today we did Heal, Sit, turn left, turn right, & fast & slow. I wish I'd gotten those pictures there is one German Shepard there that could eat me in one bite!
