Have You Ever

Has anyone here ever gone to a surprise occasion only to have the surprise turned on you?
Saturday we went to a "Surprise Engagement" Party.
We have been keeping this secret since February!
We were all seated, waiting on The guest of honor Karla. Wouldn't you know it, she walks in in her wedding dress.
That is when she & Doug say, "Surprise, you're here for a wedding not an engagement party!"
I'd never heard of such a thing & I was very surprised. I felt very honored to have witnessed their launching into the married people world.
Grats to Karla & Doug!!!!!!

It was a lovely day for a wedding!
My uncle finally made it possible for me for my to call Denise Auntie!

I almost forgot, we had food at Famous Dave's. This important looking guy came & asked us how we liked our meal. I thought he was Dave. LOL he gave me his autograph on a napkin.
(NO, He was not really Famous Dave:P)
