Kayaks.

As some of you know, I tried to roll my kayak last year. I failed miserably. I panicked. I think I came as close to drowning as I ever ever want to get.
The experience left me a bit panicky in certain situations.


Today some people from Fluid Fun Kayak & Canoe sales came to our lake today to show off some boats & give tips.
It took me a while to work up the nerve. I DID have them flip me. I had nose plugs this time which helped immensely.
I think I've beat the panic part of it. I have some techniques to practice.
I even had the skillz to paddle Brian's skinny racing kayak. That takes mad balance grasshopper! The racing boats do not sit balanced in the water on their own. They are crazy fun!
