Hootie & The Blowfish Concert.

My Sissy & I had a bonding night....We went to see Hootie & The Blowfish.

Hootie does this cool thing on the "Home Grown Tour" they fill a bus with school supplies. Hootie gets all the fans to donate something. (I forgot my items to giveRant 2)

I was not expecting an opening act. There was one! A band called Drew Davis Band. They are country but it was some good stuff. They remind me of Rascal Flatts. Every guy in this band was sexy hot! (we bought their cd & got autographs:)

The crowd was enormous. I spied many people I knew. This fair has FREE grandstand seating. It took us an hour in traffic just to park. (We got a late start.)
Hootie came on & they rocked....well they mellowly rocked LOL! Darius Rucker is very sexy when he dances. He has this...I don't know what you call it but it is yummy.
Everytime I thought they could not have anymore songs I knew they broke out in another song that I recognized.
They did a Zepplin cover, "Hey Hey what can I Do?"
They did an REM song. Darius did his country song. I liked it but I gotta say, it sounded like Hootie, not like country.

On Hootie.com you can download a recording of the actual concert you were at. (Neat idea!, But I thought it was video:()

I left out in a cloud of taillights and dust Swore

I wasn't coming back said I'd had enough
Saw you

in the rear view standing
Fading from my life But I

wasn't turning around
No not this time But..

Chorus
Don't think I don't think about it
Don't think I don't

have regrets
Don't think it don't get to me Between

the work, and the hurt and the whiskey
Don't think

I don't worry about
Coulda been shoulda been all

worked out
I know what I felt I know what i said

But don't think I don't think about it We make

choices we gotta live with them
Heard you found a

real good man and you married him
I wonder if

sometimes
I cross your mind Where would we be

today
If I never drove that car away

It was a late night, I did make it to work todayRoll Eyes 2
