This morning I had some oral surgery. I have receding gums. My two bottom front teeth were to the point that the roots were showing. The gums left were loose & at times collected pieces of food that would cause infection.
The procedure that I had done consists mainly of the Dr. loosening then pulling up the gum I have left, then he puts this special compound that promoted gum & bone growth (yes I will regrow these things!).
The next step is where the Dr. puts on cadaver tissue, he tucks it into place then stitches it down.
I now have to not bump it at all until it fuses with my own tissue. So I'm stuck eating soft foods & no biting.
I can still growl though LOL!
