My job was eliminated today. I'm very sad but I have been keeping it together so far. I asked for a half a days vacation to clear my head & was turned down becuase I had not given 24 hours notice.
I stuck it out all day. I do have a chance to get a job out on the floor. There are only three first shift openings. I may end up on another shift. I hope that my rate & my almost twenty years gives me an edge over the other people.
I know I'm not alone in this. I hate watching the news. They seem to be all gloom.
I want hope, I want hope that this is a new beginning. I want to hope that the universe has something else in store for me, something good.
If I end up unemployed, I may entertain going to school. *shrug*
Wish me luck & I'll keep you informed.

I'm sure that everything will work out for the best.
Keep your head up babes....we all love ya and hate going through this shit year after year after year. Every time management decides sales aren't worth keeping staffing it makes me sick to my stomach! Keep dreaming, we all know dreams can become reality someday!! (Now where did I put that damn powerball ticket ?!! )
