I'm not fond of this holiday. It's another of those hallmark holidays. It is a holiday that is made to set people up for disappointment. How many people get so totally depressed that they don't have a Valentine?
I think I remember my first disappointment back in grade school. You remember those little Valentine's from school?
They have actually studied Love. The Science of love.The 3 stages of love
Helen Fisher of Rutgers University in the States has proposed 3 stages of love – lust, attraction and attachment. Each stage might be driven by different hormones and chemicals.
It is no wonder that the divorce rate is high. It's a wonder it is not higher considering that the science of love proves that the in love feeling does not last.
