Spring Fever

This incredible early warmth has me back doing projects.
 I'm getting a lil thick around the middle so it is time!

 I raked and burnt leaves. I got my chair out, and sat in the sun! Cakes brought me a pretty rock back from AZ!

 I put a new light in the bathroom. Cakes helped me with holding up there. It was a little scary thinking about me and electrical, but it was rather simple. There was no ground wire coming out of my old stuff. That threw me a bit. I goggled it and found an answer. The new light is so much nicer. I can see now!

 Cakes picked this out for the bedroom. It looks great also!

 I finally started to paint the spare room. Since it was so nice I took the closet doors outside to paint. I also painted the cement floor in that closet with masonry sealer. Too much moisture coming in there. I didn't even get a nap!

The lake is looking very inviting!!!!!!!!

First Time

Since I've come out I've had so much support. I've felt much love. I know there are those that have strong opinions against my life, but I've not had to hear those opinions head on. Maybe people talk about these things behind my back and that's to be expected.
Yesterday was my first time experiencing hate for the first time. This hate was not directed at me. The old woman spouting it did not know who I was. She was in a public place having a conversation with another lady not knowing that two people in the room were gay.
She was talking about television and how they keep putting all these disgusting gay people on them.She mentioned Survivor, "Oh, that guy they have on there is so gay! It's so disgusting!"
The other lady said in a snotty tone, "Oh yeah they call it an "Alternate lifestyle". "Now they have Ellen for JC Penney, I won't be able to shop there now."
These ladies went on like this for at least ten minutes. On and on it seemed to me. I had my red face shoved in my phone.
What has Ellen ever done bad to anyone. Ellen does so much good everyday!
The ignorance just makes me sad.
Has anyone seen the movie "The Help"? Hate and Ignorance!
Those ladies have no clue how many "Gay" people are in and around their lives.

I've been a bit Naive. Yes I did know and fear this kind of reaction from people. But thank God all of the important people in my life have nurtured me.

Painting and Moving

We finished painting the spare room. The color looks fabulous. We moved into the spare room, it is now our main bedroom!
The old bedroom is the new spare/dressing room.

Christmas Was Awesome

I got the epoxy off the floor. I am in the process of painting the large cement debacle.

I had new heat ducts installed and the bedrooms are much warmer. I had a closet put in the spare room. Now that room is ready to paint. I wanted to leave the wood raw wood. BUT!, most of this house has that wood siding that I want (which is expensive) it's just painted. Painted wood is most unfortunate. 
I decided to try to get a paint to match the raw cedar color. The color they gave me looks like suntanned flesh color makeup. On the walls it doesn't look bad at all.

For Christmas I got a lovely new wine rack and some wine. Oh and a decanter which I needed. Oh and my Bumbles!

On the way home Christmas night we saw the most beautiful sunset.

Cabinet

 I got the final cabinet for the bathroom. I like the contrast of it's dark color. I only need a new light fixture and the bathroom will be done.

Just recently I have noticed cracks, gaps, cracks in tile, doors not shutting correctly. This gap is between the ceiling and the closet wall in my bedroom.

The only thing I can figure is the foundation is moving during the cold. I assume that the foundation is cracked. God help me that stuff does not move too far.

House is Falling?

It looks like the foundation is sinking. Place is falling apart.
