Night Out

We were finally able to get everyone together to go see Stillshot. I absolutely love this local band they have the perfect mix of old & new rock. They play Crazy Bitch which is the best song evah! They did not save it for the last song either which rocked.
We went to the Bella Luna. It was very very small. (Very, Very Smokey) I got to wiggle my ass with good friends & that makes me happy!
Karla's birthday was this week & we celebrated!

This Marks The Begining Of Our Two Week Vacation!

I'm so happy! We plan on having mostly what they are calling a Staycation. I Plan on doing everything & nothing at the same time. The ultimate .



Living on a lake makes staying home on vacation so easy! Fishing, Swimming, boating.

We will try to get some chores done around here also.


I'm very stoked about going out with the girls tomorrow night! I love the band Stillshot!

I'm All Caught up On LOST.

This has got to be the best show EVER. Season 4 was crazy & answered only a few questions while making 60 more.
Bring on the new season! Just a side note, since watching Hugo everything & everyone is DUDE to me LOL!

I Ran My First Ever Race.

Middlebury Summer Fest.
I ran a 3K this morning. I thought a 3K was exactly 1.5 miles. It is 1.86 miles. I only practiced once before the race & I ran 1.5 miles in 13 minutes.
I run 2 miles on the treadmill at the gym 3 days a week. I thought the race would be a piece of cake.
It was harder with all those people, my competitiveness came out & I wanted to pass people bad. Once I found my stride I was good. At the end I really wanted to beat the lady in the blue shorts. We kept passing each other. She was a step ahead of me at the finish.
I finished 26th out of 44 racers & my time was 15:54.
I had some friends show up & my hubby attended as official picture taker.

WPHS 20 Year Reunion

White Pigeon's class of 1988 celebrated 20 years last night.
They had a Hawaiian theme, The reunion was very nicely done & they had a great turn out.
Apparently the class of 1988 enjoys beer immensely as the keg was gone by 9:00. Another was promptly ordered. Dudes? What was in the punch? I know I was not drunk when I left but, I've had hang-over like symptoms all day. *ugh*

I felt my always present social ineptness come to the forefront last night. I kept thinking...I know all these people but I have no memories with any of them. I had no stories to reminisce about.
The people I hung out with in school were in other grades & or in other schools. In school I aways dreamed of hanging out with the "Cool Crowd". So when you do as an adult......those deeply buried High School insecurities sneak up on you a bit I think.
I thank God that I had reconnected with some people like Carol, Chelle, & Helen for without that I'd never had gone. Robert & I laughed & had fun. I wished that I would have mingled a tad more than I did. (*shrug* Old habits) I found out that I'm even neighbors with one school mate. I walk by their house all the time & I had no clue.
I hope to get more pictures as other people post them. I am rotten, I did not take any. I have to steal a couple of sweet ones of RJ & I off his Mom's camera also.
