Today's song

Audioslave Be Yourself

Angry 6 Grr no embedded version.

Someone falls to pieces
Sleepin all alone
Someone kills the pain
Spinning in the silence
To finally drift away
Someone gets excited
In a chapel yard
Catches a bouquet
Another lays a dozen
White roses on a grave

To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

Someone finds salvation in everyone
And another only pain
Someone tries to hide himself
Down inside himself he prays
Someone swears his true love
Untill the end of time
Another runs away
Separate or united?
Healthy or insane?

To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

And even when you've paid enough, been pulled apart or been held up
With every single memory of the good or bad faces of luck
don't lose any sleep tonight
I'm sure everything will end up alright

You may win or lose

But to be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

Today's song

The Cars - "Magic" video

Summer...it turns me upside down

Summer, summer, summer

It's like a merry-go-round

I see you under the midnight

All satins and bows

High shoes with the cleats a-clickin'

A tempermental glow

But then you let me go

Oh, got a hold on you, got a hold on you, I got a hold on you, tonight

Oh, I got a hold on you, got a hold on you, got a hold on you, that's right

Oh oh it's magic

When I'm with you (Oh-o, it's magic)

Oh oh it's magic, just a little magic (gotta be magic)

You know it's true

I got a hold on you

So twisted...under sideways down

I know you're getting twisted

And you can't calm down

I see you under the midnight

Love darts in your eyes

How far can you take it

Til you realize

There's magic in your eyes

I got a hold on you, got a hold on you, got a hold on you, tonight

I got a hold on you...got a hold on you, I got a hold on you, yeah, oh, yeah, huh

Driving Horses to work.

I live in an area with a high population of Amish. I don't know much about Amish culture, I've picked up some things from living in this area. I've watched "The Devil's Playground". That movie was filmed in this area.

The other day I was taken back when I noticed a horse tied up outside the factory I work at. An Amish lady drove her buggy into work. She parks the buggy in the parking lot & ties the horse up in the grassy area.
I wonder if driving a horse is cheaper than driving a car...with gas prices & all? DUH!

Oh the horse was hella cute too.

Doctors.

I had to go for my yearly physical yesterday. I decided to get my Thyroid checked (it has been a while), since they could draw the blood there.
I'm used to getting my blood drawn by people who do nothing but draw blood all day.
This nurse had no clue
Running AwayThe picture shows her first attempt to take me blood....Bawhahahahahah! She ended up getting it with minimal bruising on the other arm.
Holy Crap my arm hurts!

Ginourmous Fish

I caught a whopper today. A hog of a Redear.

They are just starting to hang around a massive bedding spot not far from my house. I will go out again tomorrow after my Doctors appointment. I'm hoping they will be more agitated into biting. I know there is a shit ton of fish there, but horny fish don't like to eat, they do bite to chase off rivals.
Spawning Habits

Bluegills are well known for "bedding" in large groups, with their circular beds touching one another. Bedding occurs in water two to six feet deep over sand, shell or gravel, and often among plant roots when the bottom is soft. Spawning occurs from April through October with the peak in May and June, when water temperature rises to about 78-80 degrees. A female may lay 2,000 to 63,000 eggs, which hatch 30 to 35 hours after fertilization.
