This weekend has been busy but fun, with only one scary part, which I'll get to.
Friday I got to go see
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
I went with a good friend and we had many luaghs......Good company, good movie, lotsa luaghs = Awesome!
Saturday was more taxing as Robert and I went to home improvement stores to get the materials to fix the deck at the house I'm buying. We made two trips into Lowes and one into Menards. It took us like five hours. I won't tell you how much it cost me.
We were both very grumpy after that trip!
Sunday we helped our good friend move. The move went really well, only one or two things broken. Poor Robert broke a mirror. I hope the superstition is not true about seven years bad luck. That boy needs all good luck from here on out!
I got to drive my friends riding lawn mower and mowed her lawn. That was very fun! It was all so fun and I was so busy I even missed my nap LOL!
Today was a very hot day. I needed to saw down the spindles we bought for the deck becuase Lowes didn't have the right size. Robert set up the saw. I started cutting. Half way through the job the saw blade broke and somehow caught the aluminum guide on the saw sending an explosion of metal chips at me.
Needless to say it made a very loud noise and it freaked me out totally. I got lucky that none of the metal stuck in very far. Also that none stuck in a deadly spot. Robert picked all the peices of metal out with tweezers.
I still need to go over and do some yard work.
I am supposed to take possession of the house Wednesday and start moving end of the week. There is too much to do but I am excited.
