Oh Today was......

Today was my 20 year anniversary. I never could fathom working there 20 years Holy Crap!
I've not heard a word from human resources about my pizza party & gift.

Also hubby turned 44 today. Happy Birthday Hubby!

New Position

A temporary job came available at the place where I work. My rate was good enough that I was at the top of the list to try it.
The job consists of counting inventory. This keeps the variances down so they don't need to do the large manual quarterly inventories.
There is much forktruck driving in cramped spaces, which scares the crap out of me.As does taking ginormous skids out of the very top racks. (Watch the ceiling!!!!!!!!)
Today I took the job. My elbows & hands need a break from production & this is just the ticket.
If the girl who's on medical leave does not come back in 90 days I get to keep the job.

Transformers

Tonight we watched Transformers.

I loved this movie. It was funny & action packed. The Camero was very pretty also. It just made me want to buy one

I loved when Sams mom was bitchin about her flower garden being destroyed & she says something about He's got to get off my bush!

Your heart Belongs To Me by Dean Koontz

I like reading Koontz. He's one of those writers that gets you into the story fast & keeps you there.
This one had a bit of a corny ending, but anyone who knows me will tell you that I LOVE corny.

My favorite quote I can't give you verbatim because I left the book on Diane's desk. You are welcome Diane "Surprise!"
It was a part where Sam is making Ryan promise to "Just let it all happen, Let it unfold as it is, as it is supposed to. She pleads with him not to "handle" the situation."
I think most of us could use that advice.

Can Dogs Contemplate Murder?

Last night we found Zoie with her teeth around Bella's collar & she was shaking it (& Bella) for all she was worth.
Bella just took it & just sat calmly. As I reached for her collar to straighten it up I found I could not get my finger between it & her neck.
Holy shit! Zoie just tried to kill Bella!
Now that Zoie knows how to strangle her sister.....Will she try again?

This would make a good Stephen King story.
