Exciting Day

I've had rapid heart rate episodes since I was 16ish. I've talked to doctors about it. Most doctors have blew it off by saying that it is panic attacks. I never thought they were right. I've had these attacks wake me in the middle of the night.
I was on a heart monitor for a month and I never had an attack. I've kept track of them. I've learned to be able to stop them most of the time by holding my breath and clenching muscles.
Our work has a new on site doctor, and she said that if I ever had one of these while at work to come over and they'd put me on an EKG.
Today I had one and today I got an EKG. My heart rate was 240 at one point! This thing I have been dealing with is called.....

Supraventricular tachycardia.

 The event lasted over an hour and they had me in an ambulance to go to the hospital. They have some iv medication that will stop the rapid heartbeat.

The attack stopped while I was in the ambulance and I decided not to go to the hospital. He said I was still in tachycardia and I should be careful, but I've never had another that close together. So the doctor is scheduling me for a cardiologist.   They have medication they can put me on to keep this from happening!

I wanted to go back to work but Berta and The DR said NO!

Made the deck pretty today!

Buddy The Dog

Today Buddy finished tearing apart the plastic pan in the bottom of his kennel. I made the unthinking mistake of putting the kennel on the area rug. he tore up the rug too.

I put a tire rubber type welcome mat in the kennel to try for tomorrow. Wish us luck!

I took a long walk today to post more flyers about find his owner. He's so sweet he has to have one right? You'd be wrong! Buddy is not lost, He was dropped in the area with a note on him saying to take him or call the dog cops. I guess Lagrange County animal control have been trying to catch him. The people I talked to told me that he was aggressive and terrorizing the neighborhood. He was messing with some chickens down there and dogs.
When I met Buddy he was cuddling the neighbors dog not terrorizing it.
I hope we can fix him. If we can't he'd be a great companion for an older person who never goes places.

Lost Dog

Last Thursday This crazy doggie followed me home from fishing. He's part Beagle part Boxer. He's very friendly, well behaved, fixed. He must have people somewhere?




We've posted flyers, sent emails, asked people around the lake. The only thing I've heard is that he was abandoned near the trailer park.

We are going to keep him. He has some issues though, well one issue! He has abandonment issues (wonder why?). If we both leave the house he chases the car. He will chase us for miles. Oh, and the reason he can chase the car is because he can jump the deck fence.

I think this maybe how he got lost? Or maybe a truck driver from the toll road lost him?
We tried crating him in a too flimsy crate and he tore it apart! That was just a trip to Mcdonalds 15 minutes tops!

Other than that he's a super perfect doggie. I'm not sure how to handle the other, I'm afraid he'll hurt himself in the crate. He may come with us some places. He's a good boy, great car rider!

The Flood Project

We are Getting ready to have the contractor start the fix a flood project. I pray that he does not find too many things (rotten wood, crumbling foundation) when he excavates and pulls some siding away.
